As I had promised, here are some pics that I took while I was on vacation. My family stayed at The Palladium. Palladium was a great hotel because there was lots of food, shops, and entertainment. We stayed there for 10 days. My parents and I first went horseback riding, then visited Tulum and Chichen Itza. After that, we went to Xel~Ha. If you ever visit Yucatan, I would recommend going to Xel~ Ha. Xel~Ha is a national park with many activities to do. For example: swimming with dolphins, snorkeling, kayaking, scuba diving, eating, swimming in caves, tubing, and many more. My parents and I went to swim with the dolphins. This was my first time meeting a dolphin, and I was nervous. When the dolphins swam up to me, I felt their bodies. It was rubbery and smooth. Then my dad and I went snorkeling. We saw many fish, blue, yellow, white, silver, big, small, and long - all different colors and sizes.
Tulum is a beautiful site. Though the only problem was the heat. The weather is not only hot, but humid...sticky, hard tp breathe. You could feel the sweat dripping down your back. Eww.......In Tulum, there is an area that you could go swimming in the ocean. The water was calm and clear, but I wasn't in the mood for swimming. Chichen Itza was also a beautiful site. Did you know that Chichen Itza was recently added as one of the Seven Wonders of the World? My family went to Chichen Itza with a tour group called "Olympus Tours." They include the transportation and food. The tour guide was excellent because he provided lots of information on the Mayans.
I believe that Mexico is a beautiful place, and I would love to go back again. =)
